About me

Born and raised in Italy, I have an international background having lived and studied across different countries. I have been working as a therapist and counsellor in London over the past 5 years - both privately and with charities, offering long-term and short-term services.

Alongside working as a psychotherapist, I work within the healthcare research sector, which gives me an understanding of the dynamic and demands of working in the corporate world.

I gained an MSc in Psychology at the University of Milan – Bicocca and I am working to complete the final year of a second MSc-equivalent training at Metanoia Institute in London, one of the leading psychotherapy training institutes in Europe. I am member of UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), UK Association for Gestalt Practitioners and Metanoia Institute, therefore I work within UKCP Code of Ethics and Practice and Metanoia Institute Code of Ethics and Practice.

My approach

As a welcoming, curious individual, I offer a safe and supportive space to help my clients explore their thoughts and emotions and identify habitual ways of doing things that don’t seem to work any longer. Research has demonstrated the importance of the therapeutic relationship in helping achieving clients' goals. I wish to base my relationships with you on trust and partnership, providing a non-judgmental space where you can feel acknowledged, listened to and supported.

As a therapist I work holistically paying attention to both mind and body, helping you to become more aware of what you think, feel and do in the moment. Awareness is the foundation for change, and together we can experiment with new ways of being yourself, with kindness.

Gestalt approach encourages working through problems as a shared exploration.

I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, so sessions are tailored for each person. I also believe in the importance of your full involved in every step of the therapy process, so I will ask for your views and opinions throughout the journey.

Gestalt approach allows me to work fluidly with a variety of issues, over the years I had the opportunity to specialise in the support of neurodiverse individuals, and those exploring topics such as identity and sexuality, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties.

If you are considering therapy but feel uncertain, book a introductory session to discuss your issues and questions.
